Our base price for chipped tongkat ali is 12 US dollar per 500 gram. Whenever the purchased quantity is the double of a previously doubled quantity, then the price is multiplied by 1.6 or, for quantities above 8 kg, by 1.8. Thus, the levels at which discounts become effective are: 1 kg, 2 kg, 4 kg, 8 kg, 16 kg, 32 kg, and so on.

However, we do not ship round quantities for less than 64 kg, because these quantities are shipped by postal service. Shipping costs are a substantial portion of the overall costs; we therefore always stay below the weight limits at which there is a stark increase of postal charges. For example, we ship 1.95 kg instead of 2.1 kg. To arrive at an overall package weight of less than 2 kg (to stay with the example), the net amount of tongkat ali chips that we ship is 1.65 kg. For a quantity of 1.65 kg, the per-kilo price for 1 kg applies.

After computing quantities and prices of tongkat ali by the above rules, we just add the shipping, packaging, and handling costs which are different for airmail and surface mail.

The base price of chips per 500 grams is 12 USD. Up to the quantity of 8 kg, we calculate double the quantity at a price times 1.6. For quantities above 8 kg, double the quantity cost 1.8 times the price.
